(Special note: As of June, 2015, this entire blog was closed and all of our offerings were moved to our new home in a secluded valley north of Corvallis, Oregon. All of the following services are still available, but only to residents of Corvallis and nearby towns. A new blog has been started to serve our new community. If anything you see in this (now closed!) blog sounds interesting to you, please click over to the new blog and see what’s been happening since our move.)

After the initial shaping your garden will not be a “finished work” – there may be areas of blank ground or spaces where many sprouts are coming in, and many plants will be growing rapidly. There will still be work to do!

141028-0826Continuing evolution is the long-term extension of our initial shaping work. It is a skilled, continuing artistic guidance of your deep nature spaces.

It includes artistic pruning and thinning, occasional addition of small new plants, maintenance of RainDrip micro-spray irrigation, and various other continuing tasks, plus advice and instruction on-site or by phone or email.

We would love to continue to guide your garden in this way. Continuing evolution can be a monthly subscription or we can arrange hourly visits on a regular or on-call basis.

Of course, you are always welcome to take over the continuing evolution of your garden at any time. We are happy to provide instruction on our methods and techniques, and there is also lots of information here on our web site.

If you are on a monthly subscription, instruction is free. If you choose not to sign up for the monthly service, our hands-on, in-garden instruction is available at the normal hourly rate.

If you choose to continue the evolution on your own, we take no responsibility for what may happen in your garden, but of course we are still available on-call for consultation or hands-on work at the normal hourly rate.
