(Special note: As of June, 2015, this entire blog was closed and all of our offerings were moved to our new home in a secluded valley north of Corvallis, Oregon. All of the following services are still available, but only to residents of Corvallis and nearby towns. A new blog has been started to serve our new community. If anything you see in this (now closed!) blog sounds interesting to you, please click over to the new blog and see what’s been happening since our move.)

One of the great benefits of having a deep nature garden is that we are also available to prune and tend any other plants in your garden, such as large bushes, flowers, vines, and small trees. But you don’t need to set aside a deep nature space to have your plants beautifully pruned. We’ve got you covered!

141109-0606Whether it is a rose garden, an overgrown camellia, or a thorny old lemon tree, you can have it pruned and loved into a natural looking shape that is not only visually beautiful but also healthy for the plant. No matter how much we remove, we take pride in leaving the plant looking as if it has not been pruned!

Pruning can be done on a hourly basis as an on-call service, or we can arrange for continuing visits on a monthly plan. This work is done by Nick, or by an apprentice under close supervision. Pruning of trees requiring power tools will be handed off to a licensed arborist.

Naturalistic pruning is one of our favorite garden offerings. Here is how to prune a bunch grass. Here is an example of pruning a large lavender bush. We look forward to keeping your plants looking pretty!

If this sounds interesting, please get in touch.
